Recent passengers describe the common areas of the ship as never overly crowded. While onboard, passengers can lounge poolside or receive treatments at the Canyon Ranch SpaClub. After working up an appetite, guests can dine at one of the ship’s six venues, including the Prime 7 steakhouse and the French-inspired Signatures. As with all Regent Seven Seas ships, all specialty dining is included in the cruise fare.
Your guests will enjoy all gourmet meals prepared a la minute, and enjoy unmatched personalized service from an entire crew compliment, no matter the size of your guest list. Included are all regular amenities like open bar with select wines and spirits. Interested in your own private firework show or special accommodations when we arrive at our destination? We can help with that as well. Of course, the real advantage of planning your wedding with SeaDream is that you have everything in one place. Rather than coordinating all the dozens of professionals you need to make it happen, you can be sure your Charter Coordinator can assist with every detail.

Celebrity Xpedition opened up Galapagos cruises, formerly the province of backpacking (or high-end) "adventure travelers," to passengers who want more comfortable amenities and features. Indeed, the joy of the Galapagos operation is that it combines Celebrity's stylishness and high level of service and cuisine with a local, "small ship" ambience. (The ship carries 98 passengers.) Crew members -- almost entirely Ecuadorian, from the captain down -- are sunny, charming and tirelessly obliging. Destination-oriented features are incorporated into the onboard experience, such as a performance highlighting Ecuadorian folklore, preceded by a highly personalized slideshow with pictures of passengers meeting wildlife during the course of the trip. (All are presented with a complimentary CD to take home.) To give travelers more time in this fascinating yet far-flung destination, Celebrity Xpedition offers 10- and 15-night voyages.
Since each yacht accommodates a maximum guest complement of 112 individuals, providing this level of personal attention is part of the experience. Starting the moment you board to the last minute you depart, each of our staff members is there to serve you. Whether it’s the expert sommelier making fabulous wine recommendations, the chefs preparing your meals a la minute, or one of our guest-favorite bartenders mixing your favorite concoction, you’ll find everything is customized to your liking.
Those who are interested in Yoga and Tai Chi will find that we have an option for you as well. Each day, we host a complimentary Yoga or Tai Chi session on deck, allowing our club members to enjoy a different workout experience. Whether you are an experienced practitioner or you just want to learn something new, feel free to join us while you’re aboard.
The single-ship Paul Gauguin focuses solely on the Pacific, treating its 332 guests to picture-perfect beaches and dramatic scenery in Tahiti, Bora Bora, and Fiji year-round. On Mota Mahana, the line’s private island in French Polynesia, passengers sip cocktails from the floating bar or paddle out over coral reefs on kayaks and paddleboards straight from the ship’s water sports marina. For those wanting to get under the waves, an onboard PADI scuba program certifies divers in some of the clearest waters on the planet.
Western Caribbean cruises can seem all too similar these days, what with the requisite stops in Mexico, Cayman Islands and Jamaica. Celebrity Reflection, however, subs out Jamaica for a stop in Key West, always a welcoming destination — and a good chance to show the island some love after the wrath of Hurricane Irma in 2017. Celebrity caters to cruising fans that appreciate a fine bottle of wine and an exquisite dining experience more than the adrenaline-fueled amenities of its competition. Reflection also offers an exclusive spa, a lounge and dining features to its suite passengers. On deck, the cruise line's Lawn Club (with a half-acre of real grass) beckons those who savor a relaxing day in the sun.
Restaurants, including all specialty options except The Kitchen Table, are included in the cruise fare. The Restaurant (the main dining room) and The World Cafe (buffet) serve international menus in light-filled venues, with options to open floor-to-ceiling windows on balmy days. Manfredi's (arguably the best restaurant onboard) offers Italian fare, and The Chef's Table offers a rotating menu of themed, set course meals. If you'd like to sample Norwegian delicacies, don't miss Mamsen's with its heartily topped waffles, open-faced sandwiches and bacon-and-pea soup -- all inspired by the recipes of Viking chairman Torstein Hagen's mother. If all of those freebie dining options aren't enough for you, book The Kitchen Table experience. It's only offered twice per cruise, and participation is limited. You'll start by accompanying the chef onshore for a market tour in the morning; in the evening, you'll join the chef and help him prepare a gourmet meal that you then devour.
Note that enjoying such a personalized setting while exploring the globe usually comes at a premium price, given that there are fewer passengers onboard to help collectively offset the costs. That said, typical cruise vacation add-ons like excursions are often included in the fares for small-ship sailings, as is access to extras like kayaks and bikes. You might also have knowledgeable naturalists, guides and even photographers onboard to enhance your experience of the destination.

Mediterranean, Baltic and Caribbean SeaDream cruises incorporate hidden-away ports and activities with the crew, which are included in the pricing.

Another man born into the seafaring life, Captain Holmsteinsson worked his early years aboard fishing vessels and trawlers before attending and graduating from the Reykjavík Maritime Academy. After graduation, he spent the next 20 years working on various trawlers until earning the rank of Captain. When SeaDream first started in 2001, he quickly joined on as a First Officer and since 2015 is now serving as Captain.
Most cruise lines allow you to cancel your cruise without a fee when done at least 91 days before departure. However, any shorter notice will likely result in fees. Cruise cancellation fees increase the closer to the departure date that a cancellation is made. Consult the cruise line's rules and regulations during booking for their specific cancellation fees and policies. You may also want to consider Cruise Travel Protection, which can reimburse you for cancellation penalties in case of medical emergencies.
Of course, one of the reason many come back as guests aboard our yachts is not just for the standard entertainment options. Instead, our Club Members expect to be pampered. Offering the only Thai Certified Spa at sea, you can enjoy a relaxing massage or get a full spa treatment. This is the perfect way to start your voyage and get you relaxed for the vacation that lies ahead. Many guests also take advantage of the beauty salon, which will ensure you can always look your best, no matter where we make port.

If you do want a suite, book as soon as you can because they sell out fast. The 2,000-square-foot Owner's Suites are knockouts, featuring Ralph Lauren furnishings throughout the living rooms, dining rooms and bedrooms. Oceania sweetens the suite pot by offering extra amenities including priority 11 a.m. check-in, priority luggage delivery, 24-hour butler service, priority online specialty restaurant reservations, unlimited access to the Canyon Ranch SpaClub's private Spa Terrace and much more. The perks make a suite worth considering.

During the day, La Terrazza is the ship's buffet, offering breakfast and lunch. This family-friendly cruise line brings the Disney experience to the high seas, with character appearances, extensive onboard children’s programs, and excursions to a private Bahamian island, “Castaway Cay.” The Caribbean is a constant focus for sailings, but changing seasons do see the ships visiting ports in the Mediterranean, Mexican Riviera, Norwegian Fjords, and more. Some 4,000 guests are able to sail on each of the line’s largest ships—Disney Dream and Disney Fantasy—so there’s always a party going on. Pack your craziest outfits to join in during special events like “Star Wars Day at Sea” and the “Frozen Deck Party,” unique to Disney Cruise Line.

With a crew always ready to deliver that pampered feel, it’s no wonder they have been recognized time and time again for their extraordinary service. Stretching back to our founding in 2001, SeaDream has received numerous awards and commendations. In 2010, our crew was recognized in the Kreuzfahrt Guide of Germany as “Number One for Service,” which was the second year in a row receiving that distinction. In 2016, they again recognized SeaDream as “Best Cruise Ship of the Year for Service,” which speaks volumes about our crew performance.
