Melissa was simply amazing! She made the process so easy for us. This is our first time using Turo and she definitely set the bar high for our future trips. She dropped off and picked up on time and made sure we were happy. Her car is clean and was able to tote us around all over San Diego while we visited all of our family. Douglas and his Prius could not have been more communicative, helpful, convenient, and friendly host and vehicle. We rented Doug's car for a week plus stay at Orlando for Disney Parks, Kennedy Space Center and a little shopping. We so appreciated his courteous, and helpful approach to our family. We were first time renters and Orlando Airport newbies and found Doug to be a prompt and supportive communicator. He told us where to find the car at the airport, how to access it, how to return it, and the support didn't end there- When we got moving and I realized my 16 year old Toyota was quite a bit different from a newer car, he was prompt to answer all my questions- even theembarrassing ones such as, 'How do I actually start the car?' 'How do I turn on the lights?' etc. Before the return date, he sent a reminder and succinct, clear instructions on how to return. An enclosed Sun Pass for the tolls, and free airport pickup/return were great assets to renting with Doug. Plus the Prius got insanely good MPGs, had good luggage space, and a strong AC unit that handily dealt with the crazy Orlando humidity. Dwight was amazing and this was by far the best car rental experience I've ever had, including both Turo and bigger car rental companies. Dwight met us at our gate when we arrived and was waiting for us with a sign. He helped us with a luggage and walked us to the car and showed us everything about it. He was very easily reached when we had questions about the car. Even with drop off he was very flexible and met us at the airport, despite our flight complications. Dwight was very friendly and professional and I would 10/10 rent from Dwight again next time I'm in Anchorage. Also, his car was amazing with gas mileage. We drove to Anchorage, Kenai Fjord, Denali NPS around, and back and only filled up the entire tank once. It got at least 65mpg, crazy amazing. Thanks Dwight for making our trip so much easier and amazing!
I was in a bind this week as business took m took SLC. Somehow the entire airport was out of rental cars. Then I found Christian through Turo. What a stroke of luck. Best car rental experience ever! I simply walked out of the airport and the car was waiting for me. Drop off was just as easy-not even 100 feet from the terminal. And I got everything faster and cheaper than a rental car. Car was comfortable and drove great. Great gas mileage. If I fly to SLC again, I am definitely looking for Christian first.

Cons: It was a terrible experience. They let people around me keep renting cars on multiple credit cards but when my card got declined once because my European bank blocked it their system shut down. I managed to solve the issue in 5 minutes over the phone with my bank but they wouldn't take my card anymore and didn't let me rent the car unless I had another credit card. I don't know which world we live in but having 300 credit cards at my disposal is not part of mine. Additionally, that specific branch was a shithole and the employees were unhelpful. They were asking me for bills (phone...) which I would provide and then would reject the proof of payment and ask for more stuff. I will NEVER try to rent a car there again and wish I could find a way to get reimbursed for the two Ubers I had to pay to go to the branch and back.
Joshua’s car was perfect for us for our summertime trip into the Rockies and day of exploring some areas of Denver. It easily fit my family and our bags and was easy to handle. My only slight negative was a lack of a cover over the trunk since we made a few stops at sites in Denver; it made us nervous to leave our bags in there. If we head back to Denver, I’ll look for Joshua’s car first.
If you’re willing to put in the time and research, it turns out that there are more hidden deals on rental cars than any other part of the travel experience. Take my New England rental: After my first unsuccessful searches, I kept at it, using some of the tactics below — and the effort paid off when I booked a reservation for $54 total. That’s about $13 a day, and cheaper for the whole trip than it looked like I might pay for the first day!
A search on Kayak displays prices not only by rental company and airport, but by car class as well. And where you can toggle airlines and nearby airports and on and off when doing flight searches, you can do the same for car classes and rental companies for car rental searches. Kayak also lets you filter results by price range and options like automatic transmission and unlimited miles, and permits you to open up your search to include off-airport rental companies, where savings can be significant.

The van was amazing, I traveled to Los Angeles to visit friends with my family of 4 Including an infant. The van easily fit all of our luggage and stroller, a driver picked us up curbside at LAX when we landed and dropped us off curbside at LAX. Extremely convenient, especially when traveling with children because all of the car rental companies are off site, which requires taking a bus with all of your luggage. I would definitely recommend renting from Ed and will definitely rent from him again. Thank you!
Cons: I was running an hour late for my reservation. I called the location 5 times and no one ever answered. Once I was transferred to an automated system for the company but that didn't allow me to let the location know I was late. When I got there the woman said they didn't have a car for me. No apology, and that I could hang around for awhile in case one showed up. She told me she couldn't guarantee they would have one for me in the coming hour even. I had a funeral in Boston I had to drive to so I mentioned I was going to try another rental company and she shrugged and said that's probably a good idea. Never again Avis.
This was our first experience with Turo, and it lived up to its promises. The curb-side valet service at the airport worked seamlessly; it was a major convenience and time saver. It is why I chose Nick's car over the alternatives. We weren't going into Denver itself, and wanted to just get on our way to points north of Denver. I loved not having to deal with the car paperwork on arrival at the airport. In any case, by the time I was looking for rental cars, there was very poor rental car availability at the Denver airport without going to off-site parking, so to find this alternative was a great relief, and it cost less than the rental car agencies would have, given the window of time I was looking in. The car itself was a pleasure to drive, and not having to refill the gas tank was also very convenient since there are few stations anywhere near the Denver airport.

Cons: 1. The garage is fairly complex and the office is located in different floors from where you actually return the car. You will waste time navigating through the garage. 2. The rental office is under hired. There is only 1 clerk working there to help many customers at the same time. That particular clerk was arguing with a customer because he prepared a damaged car for his customer to pick up. He is also giving a great deal of damn to a British customer preventing him from renting a car. All the delays by this clerk added to my actual rental time and made me returned the car late for approximately 30 mins, which is over charged 1 day worth of rental fees.
Cons: We used the car for a weekend trip to the beach. Unfortunately, it rained the whole time so we didn't get to spend any time on the actual beach, but inevitably a bit of sand stuck to the bottoms of our shoes. Also, a small bit of pet hair transferred from our clothes to the seats. When it was time to return the car, 2 men came to check it out. The first one, James, tried to claim the car was excessively dirty and I would be charged "up to $250." He then showed me a line in my agreement that said the fee was for messes considered to be beyond "normal wear and tear," which is exactly what it was. He let me know that he "accepts tips" and we could "work something out" if I'd like to pay him cash to take care of it for me in order to avoid the charge. When I said no, he suggested I give the security guard $20 to let me leave, get the car detailed, and come back. At this point I asked him if he was trying to hustle me and he threw up his arms and walked away. The second man came over when he saw me frantically pulling the individual hairs off the upholstery (that's how little hair was there) and told me that the condition of the car was well within their guidelines of cleanliness and not to worry about it. So I went to the counter to settle the bill and told the attendant what happened. First she said that was crazy and then left to speak to James. When she returned, she said he "must have been joking because that's not how we operate here." She then said I would have to take the car to get detailed or pay $75, and when I finally agreed (they had my credit card number - what else could I do?), she said to make sure they put the paper down over the floor mats so they know I really did it. Cost me an extra $45. Seems like their employees just don't want to do any work because when I returned, both James and the desk agent were just lounging in the office. Finally, as I noted, it had been raining for days, so as I was leaving, I slipped on the wet step and injured my ankle and knee. The Budget employees did nothing. The other customer in line was the only one who came out to make sure I was okay. Horrible experience. I would never rent from this place again.
First of All, I am very thankfull for Turo Apps. I forgot, about this app. I was traveling to Chicago, and have some issues with My Card when i am about to rent a car at Chicago Airport. And end up to hotel using a taxi. The next day, i scroll thru my phone and found turo. :). And Turo approved my account, and everything was smooth after Turo approved Me. And found Jamal’s Car. And, my life and my trip to chicago got a lot easier and smoother. Got the car that was AWESOME. Clean, and NO Trouble at all. Thanks Turo & Thanks Jamal... I even put full thank of gas instead of 3/4tank of gas. Jamal’s Car is highly recomended. His Car WELL Maintained. :)
I cannot imagine what would have made this rental any better. The van was everything that we needed for our family vacation to the beach. Kaitlyn made the entire rental smooth and easy. The drop off and pick up from the Tampa airport were more convenient than a traditional car rental. Being able to use the sunshine pass saved us a lot of time on the toll bridges in the Tampa area. We will be using Turo in the future and renting from Kaitlyn when the Tampa area. This was a wonderful experience all around.
What can I say! Robert and David really know how to run a car rental business!! They were amazing when it comes to all of the above, the cleanliness of the BMW, the communication, etc. that BMW 7 Series was one of the nicest cars I’ve ever driven and was silky smooth and was a head turner for sure! If you want a wonderful experience and a car thats super awesome, definitely hit Robert up!! He knows how to give you an awesome Viva Las Vegas experience!!
